GREYHOUND INTERMEDIATE SCHOOL BANDS

EVERY attempt is made to give each 5th grader who wishes to participate in band
the means to do so, regardless of their situation! 

The Eaton Rapids Public School Instrumental Music Program begins with 5th grade students excited to begin their band experiences while a student at the Greyhound Intermediate School.  Students coming to the 5th grade band program have already had a “taste” of playing musical instruments while participating in elementary music programs.

There are two bands at the Greyhound Intermediate School:  5th Grade Band and 6th Grade Band.  Both have band class during normal school hours.  Class time is a mixture of small group instruction and “full band” rehearsals. 

School-owned instruments are available to families where instrument rental costs are a financial hardship based on availability.
