♪ Marching Band:  The Greyhound Marching Band is truly “the pride of the Eaton Rapids community” and performs at home football games, parades, marching festivals, contests and other special events.  This is a scheduled class during the 1st trimester.

♪ Jazz Band:  This instrumental ensemble develops and broadens musical abilities of students interested in jazz, pop, rock, etc.  This is a scheduled class during the normal school day. 

♪ Wind Symphony:  This instrumental ensemble provides advanced musicians with opportunities to perform literature of a high difficulty level.  This is a scheduled class during the normal school day in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters.

♪ Wind Ensemble:  This select instrumental ensemble provides advanced musicians with more opportunities to play difficult literature than available in Wind Symphony.  This is a scheduled class during the normal school day in the 2nd and 3rd trimesters.

♪ Pit Orchestra:  This small ensemble provides the music backdrop for the spring high school musical.  Membership is based on instrumental needs.  Rehearsals are held after school, usually beginning in late-March. 

 
Text Box: It was truly a pleasure and honor to see the Eaton Rapids High School Marching Band perform in the Charlotte Frontier Days parade on Sept. 11. They were sporting their new uniforms and looked spectacular! Though other bands in the parade were larger, the Eaton Rapids Marching Band sounded better, looked sharper and gave an overall superior performance.
